I have to admit, coming up with outfits for characters in this comic has been one of my favourite things so far. Last chapter I mostly only got to draw the same school uniforms over and over. This chapter, I have options. It’s gonna be great.

Panel 1: Maida walks past her aunt, who is busy chopping onions in the small kitchen. Maida: "School was school."
Panel 2: Maida goes to her room.
Panel 3: Maida comes out again, in a different outfit: a long dress with a paisley pattern down the side. Maida: "I'm going out. I'm going to the Hobby Market."
Panel 4: Ujana: "Oh. Are you going to be back for supper? I'm making futari." Maida readjusts her hijab.
Panel 5: Ujana, holding up half of a large yam: "I still haven't found anything like real, Mangalan yams, but these are close."
Panel 6: Maida: "Maybe. I dunno yet."
