Panel 1: Maida and the other girls leave the classroom after poetry club is over. Jewana: "I don't know why you're so upset."
Panel 2: Jewana: "You like poetry, yeh? I'm sure it won't all be fousand-year-old stuff."
Panel 3: Maida: "That's not... Don't you feel like this is a waste of time? All we ever do is stuff out of the textbooks."
Panel 4: Maida: "I thought clubs, at least, would be different!" Jewana: "That's just school, Maida! I don't know what you expect."
Panel 5: Maida: "Well, it's different on Mars. At school on Mars I could pick what I wanted to learn, and just do that."
Panel 6: Jewana, laughing: "I dunno about Mars, but that would never work here! No one would ever take maffs, for a start."
