Panel 1: Maida looks at a map as she navigates her way through the campus. Papadum (who is built into the map): "Your dorm building is 300m ahead."
Panel 2: Maida accidentally bumps into a Black girl whose jacket is decorated with holographic flower petals. Maida: "Oh! Sorry. I..."
Panel 3: Maida notices someone else. Maida: "Saranjit?!"
Panel 4: With the first girl there are an Asian boy dressed like he's from the Steppe, a European girl with short hair in clips and wings coming from her back, and Saranjit. Saranjit has long hair not tied up in a turban, and is dressed to fit in with the others. She's as surprised to see Maida as Maida was to see her.
Panel 5: Saranjit: "Oh. Maida. I 'eard you might be here."
Panel 6: Maida, deadpan: "You heard that, did you?"
Panel 7: Saranjit turns to talk to the boy. She has a wry smile on her face. Saranjit: "Maida and me went to the same school togevver, if you can believe it."
