I need to use more black more often. I redrew that last panel entirely at one point and I like how it turned out.

Panel 1: Maida leans against her Aunt as they sit on the train.
Panel 2: Ujana: "That school was terrible for you anyways. Who needs it?"
Panel 3: Ujana: "Honestly I don't know how these people put up with such a sub-standard education system. It's dreadful." Maida: (still crying) "Uh-huh."
Panel 4: Ujana: "Maida, we're alive. We're still on Earth. We'll figure something out. Just don't do anything else without thinking it through first, okay?" Maida: "Okay."
Panel 5: Their train crawls through dark tunnels deep in the heart of the city's structure.
