Panel 1: Maida: "You'll always be my baby brother." Ibrahim, not looking at her: "I've been to the edge of the world and back."
Panel 2: Maida: "You're okay, though? Mama said you were, but..." She gets out her glasses and puts them on so she can see him. Ibrahim: "I'm alive. But I'm not the same."
Panel 3: Ibrahim sits on the floor of the shelter on Luna, with his mom and aunt sitting on a cot behind him surrounded by whatever luggage they could carry. His body is all stretched out, with arms, legs, neck, and torso much longer than any normal human. He's wearing a brightly-coloured parka. Maida: gasp! "What did they do to you?! Oh, Ibrahim!"
Panel 4: Ibrahim: "Life at the edge of the world is a rough deal. You have to adapt."
Panel 5: Maida: "I need to know everything. Tell me."
Panel 6: Ibrahim covers his face with his hands and massages his forehead. Ibrahim: "Alright, well, here's the short version."
