Remember that time I started drawing the interior of a sandwich shop, realized the layout didn’t make sense with how I’d drawn the exterior, and rather than redraw it I decided it would be easier to turn the windows into mirrors, despite the fact that would mean having to draw the whole scene in reverse in those mirrors? Fun times.

Designing menus for fictional restaurants is SO much fun, though.

Panel 1: A row of small shops sits on a quiet walkway above a busy chasm of traffic. The diner in the middle is called "Sandwich Island."
Panel 2: The menu for Sandwich Island includes everything from ham and swiss, roast beef, and viet chicken, to donair, bagels, and pork song breakfast sandwich.
Panel 3: Maida, Hansa, Orson, and Tahmaseb sit at a booth eating sandwiches. Maida, to Tahmaseb: "Alright, finish your story." Orson: "He 'asn't even got to the best bit, yet." Narration: "Commence operation: 'Find Out If Tahmaseb Fancies Me."
Panel 4: Tahmaseb: "So this cop has me and my mate dead to rights, yeh? He knows we've bin vandalizing city property. But he ain't got any proof it was us!"
Panel 5: Tahmaseb: "He tells us off but I just stand there and wait for him to finish." Maida sits in rapt attention. Narration: "Pay attention, Compliment him. That counts as flirting, right?"
